Can you describe briefly what you are doing with your pupils/students to integrate mindfulness in your educational work?

I am teaching school teachers (secondary education) and I am teaching in a high school for a few hours. Having developed a curriculum for mindfulness in education I am also involved in research regarding the practice of mindfulness in schools and in teacher training.

What is it that would be most helpful to you to (further) improve your work with integrating mindfulness in your educational work, besides deepening your own practice?

Actually it seems important to me that there is a growing consciousness for the importance of this work.

Have you noticed or heard of any changes in the behaviour of your pupils/students?

Yes

What is the nature of the changes you have noticed in the behaviour of your pupils/students?

Better (school) grades, improved class room behaviour, improved behaviour in the family situation, improved behaviour outside the school environment.
There is better impulse control. The capacity of being attentive is increased. Empathy is increased and there is personal growth regarding emotional intelligence and self-regulation.

What is the base of the mindfulness practise you are using in your educational work?

Secular based.
