I have made big efforts to make mindful speech integral to the ethos of the Nursery. We share short periods of quiet/meditation and I actively teach and encourage aspects of mindful listening.

What is it that would be most helpful to you to (further) improve your work with integrating mindfulness in your educational work, besides deepening your own practice?

Sharing good practice (educational) and success stories with other practitioners.

Have you noticed or heard of any changes in the behaviour of your pupils/students?


What is the nature of the changes you have noticed in the behaviour of your pupils/students?

Improved class room behaviour, improved behaviour in the family situation,.
Visitors regularly comment on how well the children get on with each other. They also say that the children are very confident and independent. When the children move on into Reception (!set year of school) the their new teachers are pleased at how well they transition and also how well behaved they are without losing a sense of their individualities.
